I saw Dr Oehley yesterday and he was excellent to deal with in every respect. His application of the vaccines was nearly painless, a bonus given how many I had. His communication was outstanding, prompt and comprehensive. His follow up was also prompt. I would not hesitate to visit him if you are going to travel as he is pragmatic and thorough and also very knowledgeable regarding Africa.

We saw Dr Michael Oehley yesterday for multiple travel vaccines. We were given plenty of time to talk to determine the risk factors associated with not having certain vaccines and given good, reliable, honest info on what vaccines are absolutely necessary. The final decision on what to have was up to us, no hard sell here. Dr Oehley is a magician with the needles! I am a little anxious about injections and there was minimal discomfort. Everything is done in this first appointment - immunisations, travel records, scripts and follow ups booked. If you are travelling as a couple Dr Oehley is the only travel clinic in Hamilton who does a couple's rate too.

I'm pleased my GP referred me to Waikato Travel Clinic. Having never before been to a specialist Travel Doctor I was reluctant, the gossip being..."its a rip off". Yes, it cost heaps however its a small price to pay for the information and protection I now have against the deadly diseases rampant in East Africa. Thanks to Michael and my GP, I can now cycle in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania with confidence. Roz (70 years young)

We are a couple and reasonably well traveled mainly around South East Asia branching out this time going to East Africa. Michael Oehley was clearly very knowledge about the area and what was needed, we got injections on the spot and went away with our malaria medication and perscription for other medication recommended. He did not push us to have more or more expensive medication and explained why or why not. Also did a comprhensive explanation of what else we needed to do to keep well such as insect repellent, water etc although we were aware of most of it, it was good to be reminded and there is always something new to learn. If you are going to spend 1000S of dollars on a holiday it is worth spending a few hundred making sure you will be well enough to enjoy it. If you are going overseas highly recommend a visit to Michael.
