This Cafe is still as great as its always been over its many years of being open, even with the different owners its had. I always make sure to come here when I'm home. It is a small cafe so won't be suited for larger groups, maybe unless you book ahead. There are a few tables outside to dine. There is a unisex toilet available for guests, not wheelchair accessible. The coffee, food and service is always fantastic. Great little cafe with a bright and friendly atmosphere. Worth the stop if you're passing through Putaruru.

Came to Putaruru to visit my parents grave and this was the only cafe open in the Christmas break. We all had a very good breakfast and the coffee was very good as well. Cost is moderate $$ clean and pleasant staff.

Great coffee. The BLT and chips I had were great. Soft focaccia bread and not too much filling that it spilt every. We don’t come through Putararu often but when we do we stop here

We stopped here on our way through for a quick coffee and morning tea.
The two coffee were good and strong. Plus they do a large which I appreciate. The food we had was nice. My breakfast muffin could have been heated a bit more.
The cheese scone was one of the best that my hubby has had.
