We're new to Cambridge and have been told finding a good mechanic can be difficult. We found this true until a company, too busy to do our jobs, kindly re-directed us to ST Automotive. ST sorted our problems at a fair price and left our van again a pleasure to drive. Our thanks to you ST Automotive.
If ST stood for “Super Troopers,” it would be spot on! ST Automotive have been looking after me and my cars for the last three years, and they’ve been consistently great. Professional but relaxed, and always willing to go the extra mile - even squeezing in a last-minute PPVI and wheel alignment when fully booked. Paul at the front desk is a legend - calm, helpful, and when I’m unsure about which tyres to buy, he pulls up photos so I can see exactly what they look like. It’s the little things like that which really make a difference. When another workshop failed my car on a PPVI for no good reason, ST reassured me, confirmed it was safe (they had WOF’d it), and backed it up with a proper inspection for another buyer. They’ve also helped me challenge dodgy tyre advice in the past by having their tech explain everything clearly. Just a really solid place, supportive people who know their stuff and treat you right. Highly recommend - if I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
Absolutely great team. Called in the morning and some one was out to me by lunch and car was fixed by the next day. Team all friendly and went above and beyond to get me sorted in a timely matter. Really appreciated. Would recommend.
Many thanks Shane & Tania for your excellent service this morning, when my car wouldn't start (flat battery). After an SOS to family friend Jason S, he phoned your shop & Paul contacted me to advise Riley was on his way. Riley arrived 5 or so minutes later & within around half an hour of my original SOS call to Jason, my car was going again. Quite good mechanics, but found the guy on service reception - Paul, to be quite rude. Spoke to him several times and every time he was quite condescending, won’t be back for that reason alone.
