Got here late on a Sunday afternoon not expecting them to have much. The woman who served us was lovely and we both got a pie. Fresh chicken pie with flakey pastry and lovely chunks of chicken! My partner had a seafood pie and said it was tasty! Very reasonably priced ($13nzd for both). Would definitely stop here again

Generally good for a mid afternoon bakery. Chips slightly undercooked but fresh and nicely salted. Tables not cleaned and not wiped while we dined. Staff were pleasant.

This place was fantastic! So many tasty food options. The menu is large and they have a wonderful bakery and premade food section. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Really good experience and recommend.

Omg I found a bakery that makes lots of food you could find years ago in bakers. So yummy and it took me down memory lane. Loved all the home made baking. Beautiful coffee and friendly staff. Will be visiting next time I'm in Matamata.
