I had a wonderful experience at this café. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The coffee was rich and perfectly brewed. The staff were attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout my visit. The atmosphere was cozy, relaxing, and inviting. I'll definitely be coming back again.

I finally stopped here after many times driving past on my way home to Auckland. Definitely worth the stop. Decent prices and nice service. I had a mocha and the big breakfast which looked so good I starting tucking in before I remembered to take a photo.

Great little cafe. Coffee was on point and so was my muffin. Wife's date scone was a bit dry. Blankets on chairs if you need them and some poppy themed items for sale. Good little vibe going on!

One of the best little cars around. Super friendly staff, really good coffee and a menu that is not too extravagant yet has something for everyone. I definitely recommend Poppy's when passing through Tirau.

A charming, pretty and quirky cafe.
I am always excited when I unexpectedly find cafes that offer foods for special dietary requirements. Poppy's offers great vegan options, so naturally I was compelled to order the most generous and mouth-watering meal I could choose.
We did not wait long to be served, but what a gift it is that the tables are equipped with games. These are probably intended for children, but I am a shameless millenial and playing Connect 4 while waiting was nostalgic and tremendously fun! When the food did arrive, it was hot and fresh and beautifully presented. I felt completely satisfied after my meal.
The cafe setup is rustic, comforting, and charming; the decor shows a lot of heart. I'd definitely recommend this place and hope to visit again soon.
