The food was delicious and the presentation was really pretty! The portions were smaller than I thought the price warranted, and the restaurant was cold because the doors were open. The staff were sweet though and turned on the little fireplace next to our table!
Wow....!!! 😃Had an awesome experience at Poppys! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavour, the bacon and poached eggs were spot on. Service was friendly, fast, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Great atmosphere and definitely a place I’d come back to again. Highly recommend!
Purchased coffee, eggs and hash brown for one. Hash brown cold in the middle, asked for it to be replaced. It was, and replacement was also cold. Eggs had also gone cold by this stage too. Asked for my money back. Was refunded for the food. Technically correct, but a bit of goodwill would have gone a long way. Wasted 20 minutes of my journey for an average coffee. 😒
It’s a really nice place, the atmosphere is lovely and the personnel was so kind and nice with us. We spent some hours here, and they gave us the possibility to refill our water bottles because the fountain inform of the cafe didn’t work. We could also use the wifi and charged the laptop. The cappuccino was big and good, with extra foam 😄💘 the toilet was clean. We recommend this cafe
The new owners have carried on presenting the beautiful food we have always experienced here before. We stopped off for breakfast and particularly enjoyed the wonderfully seasoned potato rosti served with well cooked eggs and bacon. We also enjoy the off street parking, it's always so appreciated when Tirau is busy. Thank you for lovely friendly service. We will be back.
