Wow, what an unexpected surprise taking the backroad to Auckland. Amazing food, fresh flavoursome, best coffee in a long time and lovely service. Def call in - well worth it.

A great little find where we first ate in 2018, and we were so glad to see that they had survived the Coronavirus, and were still there (2026).
Their long black coffee is so perfectly smooth and well balanced, one is just not enough, and the generous full cooked breakfast is superbly tasty, and sets you up for the whole day.
In fact, we intended to return for lunch, as the offerings on show looked very inviting - but they close at two, and we missed them!
The staff are friendly and always have a smile, and the place is spotlessly clean and tidy.
I heartily recommend this place to anyone with an appetite, or just in need of an amazing coffee.

Must have brunch here. The food is tasty and generously served with options for smaller plates for little eaters. We ate Bacon&Eggs, Small size Bacon&Banana Waffle, The Big Breakfast and I had the Loaded Spuds, all delicious. They make lovely Lattes and Iced drinks too. The service was friendly and quick. Will happily eat there again, the Crepes sound delish.

Fave place in town to eat for multiple reasons. Great food, good prices, good value for money, allergy and intolerance friendly with dairy free and gluten free options (including the ability to order crepes that are both dairy free AND gluten free), great options for kids at a great price, crepes are a good size! Meals are filling. Coffee is good! They charge a whole heap extra for gf df like some places do. They even offer their meals take away so if youre unwell or on the go you can still get a great feed!

Highly recommend this cafe! Especially for the food and service. Absolutely incredible food (we had breakfast and lunch here); we ate the bacon and egg croissant, white chocolate crepe, sweet potato pie, and a rhubarb muffin. Derick went above and beyond in the cafe and even helped us schedule our tour at Hobbiton (that had accidentally been canceled). Top class place!
