Very tasty home cooking. Staff are friendly and the prices are very affordable. The hotcakes are delicious!

Came in for lunch with my mother. I ordered a simple pancakes, cream and syrup. Very disappointed when it came out. 3 lukewarm MICROWAVED & STORE BOUGHT pancakes. They tasted like rubber discs & when mentioned to staff they just laughed, shrugged it off and went on with their day. No offer for replacement/refund or any sympathy. Very disappointed as this has been our go to when in Cambridge.

Simple, affordable cafe goods in old-fashioned hospitable style. An amazing display of ornamental teapots collected over many decades!

Lovely unassuming little cafe with friendly staff. It's a nice old school cafe. Had the half breakfast for $13.50 and it was plenty. Nice scrambled eggs that were actually proper light fluffy scrambled eggs and not a lazy folded omelette 10/10 🙌😋

The ham in my sandwich had been folded over at the front to make it look fuller, the same trick low grade bakery’s use, and the bread was stale. The cake was $8.50 and was so sugary and tasteless that I couldn’t even eat half of it. It’s fallen far from the Frans that was well known for its warm welcome, beautiful pastas and salads that would line the front cabinet and freshly made sweets. Now you have to lift a piece of cling wrap and be presented with a 5 day old cake.
