I contacted Auto Super Shoppe at 9am needing an urgent repair, as I rely on my vehicle for shift work the following day. From the very first call, the team couldn’t have been more accommodating. After I dropped the car off, they kindly drove me back home and kept me updated throughout the day with clear, proactive communication.
The repair required parts to be couriered in, so naturally I was concerned it might stretch beyond a day. The team immediately put my mind at ease by offering a loan car if the diagnostics revealed a bigger job a level of customer care that genuinely impressed me.
To my surprise, I was informed early afternoon that the job was already completed. Not only that, they delivered the car back to my house, saving me the hassle of arranging transport.
Their attitude, professionalism, and communication were exceptional from start to finish. Having previously been a Group Sales Manager for several motor vehicle franchises, I know what good service looks like — and this team absolutely delivered it.
Well done to the entire Auto Super Shoppe team. Highly recommended.

Over priced, Scammy and terrible service.
They Increased the total from quoted prices AFTER the work was done. Lady behind the counter just claimed “that’s not what we said” and wouldn’t honor the original quote although there was no additional work done. They also tried to add on additional work after I specifically stated I don’t. Took my car to another place and all “problems” stated by them were not an issue at all.
The whole ordeal was terrible from disgusting customer service and multiple angry phone calls through the day to poor mechanical work and reasoning for work that didn’t need doing. I will not be returning to this place.

Came in to check a warning light and tires. They quoted us $900 for 2 tires, a wheel alignment, and a puncture repair. A few other mechanics quoted $400-$500.
As for the warning light, they said $50 for diagnostics, then charged $100 after it was done, and they gave multiple POSSIBILITIES as to why the light MIGHT be on, so no clear diagnosis.
On top of that, the woman at the front was very rude and intense. Maybe it was just a bad day for her, but from other reviews it looks pretty consistent.

Disappointing and unnecessarily stressful.
Had a pre-purchase inspection done here (not by my choice) on a car that passed a WOF just a month earlier — and it failed. I was told it was “unsafe” due to my lowering springs, which multiple other mechanics later confirmed were fully compliant with VIRM guidelines. The springs are seated correctly, unmodified, and don’t require straps or ties to hold them in — nothing unsafe at all.
The attitude from the woman at the front desk made the experience worse, she seemed oddly pleased about the fail. It felt more personal than professional.
This whole ordeal caused unnecessary stress and nearly cost me the sale of my car. I can see why they have the lowest rating across Cambridge. I wouldn’t recommend this workshop based on my experience.

Our road-trip saviours, they got us in, diagnosed the issue same afternoon and while we were waiting for our issues to be fixed, they were extremely accommodating and great guides for things to do locally, even with our dogs. Very friendly team and very happy with the end result. Thank you from all four of us, we completed the rest of the trip with confidence and no issues!
