Our first time eating here. We stopped in for breakfast. Great, friendly service. We ordered the absolute breakfast, 2 poached eggs on sourdough toast with a side of grilled tomatoes, chunky fries with aioli. We also had a large flat white and an English tea. The food arrived in good time and was delicious. We'll definitely be back when we're visiting Cambridge again.
Never disappoints. Fresh wholesome food, friendly staff, dog friendly, lovely quiet atmosphere tucked away in the heart of Cambridge. We always make a bee line for Absolute when we can even just for a coffee. It's like an addiction where we can't stop coming back. Keep up the fantastic work. 🥰 Namaste 🙏
We liked the inside of Absolute, but the outside decor could be better and doesn’t really match. The service was good and the food was good too.
Went there a few days back. Was told they offered one of the best coffee in town. Ordered an iced coffee (latte? I've forgotten the exact order). It was a good blend between coffee ratio and milk. Beef brisket burger is great. The beef is seasoned perfectly and the fries were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Chowder is creamy but the main star was the bread that came with it. Unfortunately, the falafel was a bit dry for my taste. But the lamb and salmon made up for it. Would recommend the seafood chowder, brisket burger and coffee. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. It was a nice visit.
Lovely cafe with friendly staff. Had a beef & bean burrito from the cabinet. Very good flavours and served with salsa and sweet chili sauce on top with guacamole and sour cream on the side. Only thing I would charge is not putting sweet chili sauce on the burrito....it already has salsa. 😊
