Went there a few days back. Was told they offered one of the best coffee in town. Ordered an iced coffee (latte? I've forgotten the exact order). It was a good blend between coffee ratio and milk.
Beef brisket burger is great. The beef is seasoned perfectly and the fries were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Chowder is creamy but the main star was the bread that came with it. Unfortunately, the falafel was a bit dry for my taste. But the lamb and salmon made up for it.
Would recommend the seafood chowder, brisket burger and coffee.
The owner was very friendly and accommodating. It was a nice visit.

Reminded me of home. The coffee was very good, and the Cheeky slice was fantastic. Lovely ambience.

Came for lunch as family of 6. Ordered lamb roti, pulled pork sliders, fries and waffle with bacon plus 2 coffee which cost about $100.
Overall experience was great, with mini golf in a closed backyard a real plus for young kids. Plenty of toilets with changing table was also a thoughtful touch! Indoor there's plenty of space and cozy feeling with comfy seats.
Food was tasty (strong flavour) and the portion was reasonable ie 1 dish per person. But then the lamb and pork were both more than a little spicy which surprised me and I'd suggest they make it clear especially to those with kids.
Last but not least the coffee weren't impressive I'm afraid (a bit bland), so if good coffee is that important to you it might be worth looking for alternatives.
Still, I'd come back for the food and atmosphere!

Heading home to new plymouth from Rotorua, when called into Cambridge absolute coffee house, my son & I had coffee and porridge, the porridge was absolutely lovely, my first meal of the whole trip did I eat all of my food, loved our coffees, thank you, is that a shop bought porridge or made by chef? Truly the best we've tasted, clean & tidy, great portion, dishes clean, I just loved the place❤️
